2013KSAF高雄春天藝術節-「春之祭」世紀新篇

2013年是「春之祭」問世100週年，高雄市左派舞蹈協會特邀新銳編舞家陳婷玉自美返國，以四手聯彈的鋼琴曲來編創「春之祭」，脫離眾所熟知的故事，而以排練「春之祭」故事中的故事，來帶領觀眾進入一場舞蹈演出的背後實景，也明確地反映出真實的生活型態。
舞劇講述10位參與「春之祭」演出的舞者交錯複雜的生活，故事以教室的排練開始，在相互選出要穿上象徵犧牲的紅舞衣的舞者中，發展出交雜著愛、嫉妒及犧牲的錯綜複雜的關係，在紛亂的氛圍下終至情緒的崩裂與瓦解。
此外在地三位新銳編舞家配合春之祭的演出，也運用斯特拉汶斯基的三首樂曲來創作，藉由這位具現代樂派革命性風格的創新節奏及曲式，來展現相對應的舞蹈創意。
蔡博丞的《無聲吶喊》呈現了人性的醜陋，張堅志的《追夢人>>》道出了夢想的追尋，張雅婷的《驚蟄》在舞臺上畫出大地春回萬象復甦的美麗景象，四位編舞者共譜一場斯特拉汶斯基的音樂之夜。
2013 marks the centennial celebration of Stravinsky's “the Rite of Spring.” Tso’s Dance Association has commissioned the USA-based cutting-edge choreographer Ting-Yu Chen to create a new version of the Red Dress set to this 20th century masterpiece in its one piano, four-hand form. This dance provides a view of the complex lives of 10 dancers preparing for a performance of “the Rite of Spring.” Set as a story within a story, it takes the audience into the backstage world of a dance company. As the company director prepares a work based on Russian pagan tales of sacrifice, the parallels with real life are unmistakable. Lisa, the lead dancer, has been chosen to perform the role of a young girl sacrificing her life in a dance to the death. In her personal life, Lisa is tormented that the man she loves has left her for another woman in the company. These two emotional traumas collide as Lisa rehearses this demanding role while watching the new lovers grow ever closer. As the fictional dance to the death concludes, Lisa’s collapse onstage brings her near to a mental breakdown.
Joining Chen on this project to celebrate the works of the musical giant Igor Stravinsky are the three local cutting-edge choreographers also taking on Stravinsky’s revolutionary music scores, known for the complexity of rhythmic structure and musical form, to liberate their creative force. Po-cheng Tsai’s Silent Scream focuses on humanity. Chien-Chih Chang’s Dream Hunter illuminates the pursuit of the dream. Ya-Ting Chang’s Stunning Beauty depicts spring revitalization. These four choreographers join force to create four exciting dances for this evening concert.
