寤寐之境-吳家潁個展

「好思當代—台北館」五月份檔期，推出北藝大美術系研究生吳家潁的「寤寐之境」個展。吳家潁的繪畫創作，聚焦於兩性權力對話的議題及自身情感的解析，有時描繪現實生活中的小確幸，有時表達內心層面的壓抑與不安定感；題材含括身體與空間的感受，到自我與人際關係的探索，他的畫風表現及語境鋪陳，不時流露出某種詼諧成分，每件作品與標題命名之間，也顯現了藝術家的幽默傾向。

  吳家潁的「寤/寐之境」展，究竟是指涉和對比夢去/醒來的兩種心境，是呈現半夢半醒的一種恍惚狀態，或試圖在潛意識/意識之間來回穿梭？或以上皆是！? 歡迎大家從今年五四文藝節的這個周末起，光臨「好思當代—台北展館」，不論自行欣賞解讀現場原作，或與本展新秀藝術家吳家潁就地交談對話，都會是今年初夏很不錯的一個活動選項。

At the beginning of May, the Haohaus gallery will held the solo exhibition "dreamland of the lust" by the artist Wu chia yin, currently the gradude student of Taipei National University of the Arts. Wu’s paintings focused on the topic of gender issue related to power and analysis of his own emotion. Sometimes he depicted a little happiness of daily life, and expressed depression and insecurity of his inner life. His subjects included feelings of the body and space, exploring the relationships between himself and others. His style and contextuality, such as his works and names of the titles, showed one kind of humor.

What is the state of mind of Wu's solo exhibition " dreamland of the lust "?  Is it the comparing of dreaming and awaking? Or shifting between subconscious and conscious? Maybe the answer is both. From the beginning of this year’s the day of Literate & Arts, we welcome you to visit the Haohaus gallery-Taipei to enjoy the painting by yourself or to meet the artist. These will be a very good option to arrange your summer activities.
