蘿貝塔．坎芭芮妮以孟克國際爵士大賽第三名嶄露其亮眼音樂天份，其精湛擬聲技巧直追前輩名伶莎拉．沃恩及艾拉．費茲傑羅，是近年來最受矚目的爵士女伶之一。

曾與多位爵士樂大師合作演出，包括Dave Brubeck、James Moody、Herbie Hancock、Paquito D’Rivera等，獲得大師諸多肯定，傳奇鋼琴家Hank Jones更大力讚賞「她是近60年來最好的歌手」。2006年發行首張專輯，旋入圍葛萊美獎，2007年及2009年兩度獲得美國爵士記者協會 (Jazz Journalists Association)「年度女歌手」肯定，2008年獲DownBeat雜誌樂評選為年度最佳爵士新秀女歌手，首度參與兩廳院夏日爵士演出，將以耀眼 美聲驚艷樂迷。

Roberta surprised the Jazz world by finishing 3rd in the 1998 Thelonious Monk Vocal Competition. From then on, Roberta has had the good fortune to appear in concert & record with such Giants as Dave Brubeck, James Moody, Hank Jones, Clark Terry, Herbie Hancock and many others. In 2008 Roberta recorded a Superb Duet album titled You Are There with the Legendary pianist Hank Jones. Mr. Jones declared Roberta Gambarini “The Best Singer to emerge in the last 60 years”. Every once in a while, a Truly Great singer comes along, who possesses the Beauty, Individuality, and talent to remind us, once again of the magical majesty of the human voice: That singer is Roberta Gambarini.
