新苑藝術將於5月20日至6月10日展出德國藝術家Johanna Flammer個展。Johanna Flammer是德國當代藝術中受矚目的藝術家之一，畢業於杜塞爾多夫藝術學院　（Kunstakademie Düsseldorf），去年夏天於柏林Michael Schultz Gallery、近期於柯隆Gallery Osper結束兩檔個展，她是2012年德國BLOOOM Award得主，同年展出得獎作品於科隆ART.FAIR藝術博覽會，2013年更由ART.FAIR為其特別企劃展出個展NODI。

 

Galerie Grand Siècle will present a solo exhibition of Johanna Flammer titled Set Out during May 20 to June 10. Johanna Flammer is in the limelight of Germany contemporary art scene. Graduated from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, just finished two solo exhibitions in Michael Schultz Gallery, Berlin in Summer and recently in Gallery Osper, Cologne, she is the recipient of BLOOOM Award 2012 whose awarded series were featured in ART.FAIR, cologne in the same year. In 2013, ART.FAIR cologne staged her solo exhibition NODI as an exclusive project.

 

「空無一物的畫布，是作品的起始」Flammer說道。她使用油彩、壓克力顏料、攝影與視覺拼貼藝術技法，混合點畫筆觸，將魔幻的圖像並置重疊，產生新的質地，呈現遠近交融且繁複的整體，建構出與超現實主義相異的創作領域。藝術家透過控制，有意識地使自己不去控制，藉由無既定思想式的呈現，尋找創作中衍生的形式與形體。

 

Johanna Flammer is not afraid of the horror vacui, the emptiness of the canvas at the beginning.  She features a new quality by the juxtaposition of phantasmagoric images losing the sense of distance. The multifarious whole beyond nature or surrealism is fortified by her multifaceted touch in acrylic, oil pigment, photography, collage and strokes. She has no pre-fixed image and no compositional pan in mind. Her objective is aimless, consciously losing control during creation.

 

這樣的精神性正如1977年，法國後結構主義學者德勒茲（Gilles Deleuze）與瓜達西（Félix Guattari）藉由植物學「塊莖」(Rhizome)所闡述的異質聯結性與多樣性，該理論系統內提到物質世界存在多元、非層級性、無須排列分類的游牧因子，Flammer的作品似乎也與此游動能量共舞。

The essences of the works of Flammer seem to resound with the nomadic energy comparable to the post-structural system linked with rhizome, proposed by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari in 1977. This theory was based on non-classified associations independent from order. Such nomadic elements with multiple, non-hierarchical points of entry and exit can be enjoyed in the exhibited works of Set Out.

Johanna Flammer 獲獎的 2013 年，有來自 6 個洲、29 個國家的 800 位藝術家角逐該獎項。 她獨特的視覺語彙、多元技巧、媒材與色調，呈現清晰且暗示性的裝飾元素，使她成為近年最受矚目的得獎者，並在之後持續獲得邀展，發展系列作品。

 

Johanna Flammer自述-關於我的作品：

 

「作品進程的核心在於發展。下筆間會自動發展成畫面，我小心控制著這股自然。我和作品間存在相互拉扯的張力，於是控制和失控之間，形成了一場遊戲。電流是驅使我創作的基本要件，它像魔咒一般引領我繪至最後一筆。總是預期外的結果，我才慢慢認知到......有一種念頭，它可以成長至無限，去除所有阻礙，消融在我體內，讓我陷入無法言說的陶醉中。創作過程中，動作繪畫和拼貼的不同步驟，構築了一股巨大的張力。在形式的最終，各種技法間的連結產生了開啟新世界的單位。」從自我挪用的語言可以透過不同形式體現及傳送訊息，因此沒有媒材或空間的隔閡，它是開放的。

 

幾年來我創作的均為非傳統、非學院派的繪畫，所關注的主題為「髮絲」，並以多元媒材將這兩個殊異的主題結合。〈NODI〉是一系列對上述主題的延伸與實驗，都從多種顏色和形狀發想，創作之初，作品的結構和密度都未經計畫。之後我參考時尚雜誌裡的裝飾性立體髮型，複製並裁切成片段，創作的理由便直覺性地產生了，不考量畫面裡的實際作用而將其轉化後，產生了紮根於地的辮子，再進一步地形成根莖。這些從色塊中破土而生的葉子形體，凸顯出茂密枝葉分支上的節點。

 

"The main process of the work consists in the development. A controlled automatism leaves to the last line, the tension between me and the work exist and is a "game" between control and loss of control. This voltage is the basic requirement when working for me and pulls me to the last line in a kind of spell. The anticipation of the unexpected result that there is to slowly recognize .... The idea that can grow something to infinity, with no obstructions, dissolves in me an inexplicable fascination. The different steps of the gestural painting and collages up for subscription, offer a wide field of tension that builds up when working. This connection of the different techniques are at the end of the formation a unit that opens a new world. " The language I've appropriated me, can be run in many different forms and transmitted, so that there are neither media nor spatial barriers. It is open to any way.

 

For several years I am working with the informal painting and the subject "Hair", which I am also of various media around these two Operating the - quite different themes - together. At the same time these excerpts sprout like leaves from the base of the color space, recalling node (Latin nodus, plural:. Nodi) from which grows leafy greens on branches.
