人嶼個展 5/12 - 6/3 The Solo Exhibition of Legacy Lab International

本次展覽透過不同材質，試圖探討科學的本質和藝術創作的實驗性和可能性，能量變換以時間和空間呈現不同的效果，結合科技讓物質的特性能夠成為藝術創作的媒材。

New media art group Legacy Lab International, led by Artistic Director Ivan Liu, questions the fundamental properties of matter. Using a combination of scientific analysis and intuition, the group experiments with different types of hybrid materials, undertaking research into how matter interacts with light, electricity, heat, and forces, while at the same time captivates human sensory.

In this solo exhibition "Energy of Things", the works shown use elements from nature: light, sound, water, and heat as creative media. Energy is transferred across different types of media in many different forms, at the same time revealing itself in front of us through colors and sound.

The exhibition attempts to discuss possibility of artistic creation from the fundamental nature of science through experimentation, in which the spatial and temporal properties of material can be used as artistic media by artificial control of energy dynamics.
