「錯/措身—記憶與遺忘的封印」

甫過世的英國物理學家史蒂芬‧霍金(Stephen Hawking)，相信宇宙存在一種得以解釋萬物的終極理論。在此世界觀的脈絡下，生物或許無法超脫所有形式的命運束縛，但科學真理的所感所知，最終仍來自人性的反映。

「錯/措身—記憶與遺忘的封印」由藝術史學家白適銘教授策展，透過藝術家羅展鵬、黃盟欽、林世雍、余昇叡的作品，試圖突破宿命論的限制，彰顯存在始自思辨、終於抉擇的意義。藉由遺忘找到身體的自由與出口之「錯身」，以及記憶尋求靈性的依託與安置之「措身」，將錯/措身一體兩面的人際關係和個人位置，具體描繪出在聚散二元論框架之下所產生的身體再現與身體經驗。

大觀竭誠邀請您前來，通過往返穿梭於藝術家作品的歷程，共同尋覓那些關於自我與他者、記憶與遺忘的潛思念經驗。

Passing by/Emplacing – sealing one’s reminiscence and oblivion

The recently deceased English theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking believed that there exists a formula that would explain everything. Even though all the living creatures cannot break free from the boundaries of fate, but the science itself is after all reflective of the human nature.

<Passing by/Emplacing – sealing one’s reminiscence and oblivion> is curated by art historian Professor Pai Shih-Ming, though the works of Lo Chan-Peng, Huang Meng-Chin, Lin Shih-Yung and Yu Sheng-Reui, the exhibition aims to liberate one from fatalism, to emphasis on the fact that existence originates from cogito, and the meaning of decision making. “Passing by” enables one to liberate from one’s form though forgetting, whilst by “emplacing” the memories
