King size的籮筐破了洞　特技表演者撐著中空的大竹輪
360度轉呀轉呀轉呀　彷彿一枚永遠不會停下的指尖陀螺
若農漁人看到自己拿來捕魚、農耕、處理家務雜事的器具
竟能被這樣玩　不知會是什麼表情？

《城鄉河粉》（A O Show）劇名中的「A O」是由「Lang Pho」衍生而來，代表「鄉村與城市」。這兩個單純的字母，簡言之就是讓我們看見這令人振奮轉變期下的越南。

《城鄉河粉》描寫了相較於國家的都市化競爭下，越南鄉村生活迷人的美景和富有的文化，這齣劇的獨特之處在於融合了竹子道具的馬戲、雜耍特技動作、現代舞和劇場視覺藝術呈現，現場演奏的音樂也呼應了越南南方歌謠，融合了各種美的表演形式，創造了獨特的舞臺語言，完美地捕捉越南文化動人的文化本質。

創新馬戲表演遇上現代舞
《城鄉河粉》在跨界表演類型上展現出創意的突破，少見地混合了馬戲表演、雜技、活躍的現代舞和現場演奏，此外也利用了竹子和日常生活會使用的藤製道具等。在運用上展現了創意，這些元素創造了有活力與豐富的舞臺視覺語言，並以獨特的方式訴說越南的文化。

巧妙的幽默聯結
藝術家們唯有抽身將越南視為一處陌生之地，才能同時喚起深刻的情感與挫折，並找出許多樂趣與有趣之處，轉化成各種故事來向大眾訴說。這也是為什麼《城鄉河粉》裡的許多演出情境都是立基於幽默和諧的狀態上。城市中一個小社區裡所發生的搞笑事件，逗趣的肢體語言，用一種迷人、可愛且非常具有娛樂性的方式，捕捉越南文化的靈魂。

Show Concept 
The name 'A O" derives from Lang Pho, which means "village and city". These simple letters tell us in a nutshell about this version of Vietnam that went through an exciting transitional period.

A O Show depicts the charming beauty and cultural richness of Vietnamese life in the countryside, in contrast with the nation's racing urbanization. The show is a unique mix of bamboo cirque, acrobatic acts, contemporary dance, and theatrical visual art. The live music echoes Vietnamese Southern work songs. All in all, this beautiful blend of genres creates a unique stage language, which well captures the essence of Vietnam's fascinating culture.

A Beautiful Contrasting Portrait Of Modern Vietnam 
A O Show may be the only show that presents beloved Vietnam in an exciting transitional period. There is perfect harmony within chaos. There are vivid and romantic moments of life in the countryside versus the happening noise and funny discordance of urbanization. A beautiful contrasting portrait of Vietnam today, painted through the poetic lens of a soulful observer, full of love for this land.

Creative Cirque Meets Contemporary Dance 
A O Show presents a creative breakthrough in blending genres. The show is a rare mix of cirque, acrobatics, dynamic contemporary dance and live music, plus a creative use of bamboo and rattan props from ordinary life. All these elements harmonize to achieve a dynamic and visually rich stage language that speaks of our culture in a unique way.

A Delicate Touch Of Humors 
Only when looking at Vietnam, a strange place that evokes both profound emotions and frustration, may the artists found so much fun and amusing substance to tell their cultural tales. That is why a humorous tone underlies many of A O Show's acts. Funny situations in a small urban community. Amusing creature's body language. Never before has a cultural show captured this spirit of Vietnam in a tone so charming, endearing, and super entertaining.

創作者
Tuan Le
Tuan Le六歲時在哥哥的指導下開始了他的舞臺職業生涯，十四歲到了柏林後加入烏發工廠（Ufa Fabrik）擔任雜耍藝術家。他的榮譽事跡包括1997年柏林的斯圖加特新秀競賽（Talent Competition in Stuttgart）首獎，及2004年德國威斯巴登的歐洲藝術節（Euro-Festival）新秀金獎，他是第一位也是唯一與太陽劇團（Cirque du Soleil）長期簽約的越南個人藝術家，並曾於紐約百老匯燈塔劇院（Broadway Beacon Theater）、多倫多坎儂戲院（Cannon Theater）演出。同時也是第一位獲得國際雜耍人協會（IJA）傑出演出獎的亞洲人。

他曾創作了許多優秀的作品，包括在美國辛贊尼劇院（Teatro Zinzanni）演出的《Dinner & Dreams》和太陽劇團的《Banana Shpeel》，最新作品是太陽劇團的《阿凡達前傳：托魯克．霸主現身》，目前最重要的作品則是《城鄉河粉》、《Lang Toi – My village》、《Teh Dar》。

Nguyen Nhat Ly
Nhat Ly出生於法國，在越南長大。他於巴黎第八大學獲得音樂學士學位，他是藝術團的首席與創辦人之一，藝術團是專門教導傳統音樂的亞洲兒童教育機構。一九九五年到二〇〇八年間，他曾擔任於巴黎近郊舉行的「世界音樂之城藝術節」的組織委員會成員。

他自認為「身體裡留著越南人的血多過於法國人的血」，因此對於豐富的越南文化與文化傳承情有獨鍾，他曾創造許多跨界的合作與獨特的表演像是《Lang Toi – My village》、《Gio Binh Minh》、《Trao Doi》，在國內外都獲得好評。Nhat Ly的作品裡皆邀請了優秀的傳統與現代音樂家，現場演奏出醉人的弦律。

Nguyen Lan Maurice
和Nhat Ly來自同一個家庭的Nguyen Lan從小便在越南的國家馬戲學校受訓，1985年舉家搬回法國之後，開始在羽毛馬戲團（Cirque Plume）演出，直到後來成為法國阿貢西可馬戲學校（Arc en Cirque）的藝術總監。

當Nguyen Lan受邀到河內的國家馬戲學校開設為期三週的大師班課程時，他要求當時參加的每個人每週都必須創作一項新的表演，當時參與的團體共有九組，他與這九組團體各創造了十項演出作品，之後在Tuan Le與Nhat Ly的合作下，最初版的Lang Toi概念便因此誕生了。

作為《Lang Toi – My village》、《A O Show》、《Teh Dar》訓練總監，他不斷從研究中尋求藝術創作的方式，他的任務是和藝術家們一起工作，將他們「洗腦」，協助他們跳脫過去的習慣與常規—接著餵養他們創意、藝術感知與創新的觀念。

Nguyen Tan Loc
過去在胡志明市偶劇團（Ho Chi Minh City Puppet Theater）擔任編舞家，之後便轉往胡志明市交響管弦樂團（Ho Chi Minh City Symphony and Orchestra Theater）擔任編舞與舞者，接著獲得日本東京藤里芭蕾學校（Tokyo’s Fujisato Ballet School）的獎學金。

他於2008年創立了Arabesque舞團，Arabesque旨在發展出結合傳統舞蹈美學與古典芭蕾的當代舞蹈語言，之後Arabesque舞團並演出了許多的富有藝術與文化的作品如《鞋子的故事（The Stories Of Shoes）》、《Moc》和《迷霧（The Mist）》。

他的最新編舞作品是太陽劇團的《阿凡達前傳：托魯克．霸主現身》。加入《A O》表演團隊後，Tan Loc協助以當代舞蹈與藝術裝置來增強此部演出的視覺語言。

Tuan Le
Tuan Le started his stage career with juggling since the age of six under his brother's coaching. At 14 years old, he came to Berlin and soon after joined Ufa Fabrik as a juggling artist. His accolade includes First Winner of the Talent Competition in Stuttgart – Germany in 1997, and Gold winner of the Euro-Festival Young Artist in Wiesbaden Germany in 2004. Tuan Le is the first and only Vietnamese Artist to sign a long-term contract with Cirque du Soleil as a solo artist and to perform at Broadway Beacon Theater NYC, and Toronto Cannon Theater. He is also the first Asian to receive the Award of Excellent from the IJA in Spark.

He has done many great shows of his own including "Dinner & Dreams" of Teatro Zinzanni and "Banana Shpeel" of Cirque du Soleil. His latest work is Choreographing for Toruk, and Avatar-inspired production of Cirque du Soleil. "Lang Toi – My village", "A O Show", and "Teh Dar" are his most important works.

Nguyen Nhat Ly 
Nhat Ly was born in France but spent his childhood in Vietnam. He holds a Bachelor Degree of Music from Paris VIII University.

Ly was one of the two founders and first president, who created Art Ensemble, an organization which educates Asian children about traditional music.

He has also taken a seat at the organizing committee for the festival "Cities of Ethnic Music" on the outskirt of Paris from 1995 to 2008.

Considering himself as "having more Vietnamese than French blood", Ly has a special love for the rich culture and heritage of Vietnam. He has made several collaborations to organize various and unique performances such as "Lang Toi – My Village", "Gio Binh Minh" (Wind of the dawn), "Trao Doi"  (Exchange) which have earned him praises from both local as well as international critics.  Nhat Ly brought to his every work the mesmerizing sounds of both traditional and contemporary musical instruments, performed live by talented musicians.

Nguyen Lan Maurice 
Coming from the same family with Nhat Ly, Nguyen Lan had spent his childhood being trained at the National Circus School in Vietnam. As the family moved back to France in 1985, Nguyen Lan started to perform with Cirque Plume before becoming artistic director of circus school Arc en Cirque in Chambery, France.

Invited to give a three weeks master class at the National Circus School of Ha Noi, Nguyen Lan worked with 9 groups of 10 performers each, asking everyone of them to invent a new show every week. With the support from Tuan Le and Nhat Ly, the very first version of Lang Toi was conceptualized.

In "Lang Toi –My Village", "A O Show", and "Teh Dar" as training director, Nguyen Lan is in the quest of creating arts from scratch. His mission is to work with artists, "brainwash" them from their habits and routines of the past – then nurture their creativity, arts sense, and innovation.

Nguyen Tan Loc 
Starting as choreographer at Ho Chi Minh City Puppet Theater, Tan Loc later took the position of choreographer and dancer at Ho Chi Minh City Symphony and Orchestra Theater. Loc was then awarded a scholarship of Fujisato Ballet School in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2008, he founded Arabesque Dance Company, aiming to develop their own contemporary dance language which combines traditional dance aesthetics and classic ballet. Since then, Arabesque has produced a variety of artistic and culturally rich productions such as "The Stories Of Shoes", "Moc", and "The Mist".

His latest work of choreography is for Toruk, an Avatar inspired production of Cirque du Soleil. Joining "A O Show" team, Tan Loc helps enhancing the visual language of the show through contemporary dance and artistic installation.
