街上的人們 -張雅萍 個展

當我們看一個地方的復興，總是聽到很多勵志的故事，總是看到少數人特別的突出在這些媒體訊息之上，成為眾人景仰偉大的對象。但是，對我而言，『他們』是『一群』平凡不過的朋友，而非一兩個特別的人。他們會爭吵、會傲嬌、會任性，不是媒體上面點綴出來的那個閃著光的人物。而是在真實平凡的街區上，有著每個人各自的生活軸線、同時地進行，我們在各自的軌道上掙扎與自己對抗，又在彼此連結的在街道上砥礪前進。

只要走進這條街，我們就會變得『童心未泯』。

在一條舊的市場緊急安置處，我們這一群人聚集在這裡，實現一個願景。
這條街道是媒體平台眼裡的文創基地，可能也是所謂地方創生的指標。

事實是，『她』是平凡午後孩子們奔跑的基地，充滿了笑聲。在假日裡購物買賣中，連結的是人與人的綿長的情誼。

『我們這一群人』。是的，我是說『我們這一群人』，透過對人生願景的無限想像，來到這條街上，用各自獨特的方式努力著。而真正的在地並不一定是長於斯，生活於此。更重要的是當你有心、當你著實實踐你熱愛的路徑，這一切就會如何踏實的刻畫在土地上。

A revival of a community is always accompanied with many inspiring stories. However, only very few of them appear on media and become known and admired. For me, they are a group of friends and regular folks, not one or two out-of-ordinary individuals. They bicker with each other. And they can be smug and wayward. They are not the shining characters portrayed by the media. Rather, they live in the street blocks, real and ordinary. Each person has his/her own trajectory in life, and they all happen at the same time. We all struggle on our own tracks, and we want the better of ourselves. We march forward in the streets that connect.

The moment we walk into this street, our childhood innocence is revived.

In this emergency shelter at an old market, we gather here to realize a dream.

In the eyes of mass media, this street is a hub for cultural creativity and possibly a landmark for local placemaking. In fact, this is where children run in the afternoon. It is filled with laughter. People connect with each other via shopping with and from each other over holidays.

We are a group. Yes, by this I mean “we as a group”. We come to this street because we have unlimited imagination about what our life should be. We work hard for this in our own ways. It is living here that matters. It does not matter whether you grow up here or not. If you have your heart and love the path you choose, everything leaves its mark on this land.
