一擊 From one stroke｜香月美菜個展Mina Katsuki solo exhibition

在一個被認為是公正而多元化時代，我經常思考作為一個藝術家的職責是什麼。而我能夠做的就是以誠摯的心來面對。藝術應該透過信任或感受聯繫在一起，而不僅僅是文字的說明。對我來說，誠實地對待我的工作就是接受現在生活的現實。我在創作中尋找人類的真理，在廣闊、苦澀、類似空間的環境中，以一種不被定義型態的材料進行創作。這對我來說就是藝術的價值。

 

In a time where it is deemed justice to accept the diversity of values, I often think about what art is as an artist. What I am able to do in my work, is to confront you with honesty. There should be something there that is connected by trust or senses, not just words. To me, to confront my work with honesty is to also accept the reality of living in the present. I am seeking for the truth of humans in paint, a defined material with no shape; in a vast, bitter, space-like environment. That is art to me.
