臺北市紀錄片從業人員職業工會
臺北市紀錄片從業人員職業工會為臺灣第一個由紀錄片工作者發起的自主工會，於2006年9月9日正式成立。會員囊括老中青三代的紀錄片編導、攝影、剪接、配樂、策展等專業人員，成立宗旨在於保障紀錄片工作者基本勞動權利、提升紀錄片工作專業水平，與促進紀錄片產業發展為目標。工會以影像知識扎根社會自期自勉，至今陸續舉辦/承辦有「在一起過影」、第一至八屆「攝區二三事徵件競賽」、「紀生在三街影像培力課程」、「影像大同課程」、「Puts Sound兩岸搖滾影像聯展」、「紀錄片後製教學課程」、「紀工影展」、「紀工聚會」等系列活動，內容涵括紀錄片映演、紀錄片教學課程、徵件競賽、國際影展交流以及紀錄片相關勞動權益講座等。
此外亦常態發行《紀工報》，與執行紀錄片工作者訪談計劃，至今擁有兩本工會出版品，分別為《愛恨情愁紀錄片──台灣中生代錄片導演訪談錄》（同喜文化，2009年12月）、《景框之外：台灣紀錄片群像》（遠流，2012年10月），持續以多元的形式深耕紀錄片領域，除了期待團結紀錄片工作者的集體力量，表達其勞動權益問題外，同時也希望吸引更多關注紀錄片的民眾，讓大家從欣賞紀錄片開始，進而了解紀錄片製作領域，讓紀錄片產業由內而外得到重視與發展。
We are the first independent union in Taiwan that officially founded by documentary filmmakers on 9 September, 2006.
The union dedicated to protect the basic labor rights of documentary filmmakers and developed the working standard for independent filmmakers. Through this mission statement, the union remains committed to promote the development of documentary industry and expected the internal documentary environment to be unified as an integrity.
「To plant roots of image knowledge in society」is the goal that we expect ourselves. So far, we have launched a series of events, such as ［Something about Community Documentary Competition］from 1st to 5th,［Doc Makers Workshop at 3th Street］, ［Image TATUNG Program］, ［Puts Sound + Film Coalition Festival］、［Documentary Post-production Program］,［Doc Film Festival］,［Doc Filmmakers Reunion］etc., which included documentary screenings, documentary film-making programs, and labor right of documentary workers.
Documentary appreciation is the starter that the union tries to attract people giving more attention to documentaries. And in the furtherance of step which is learning and comprehending the process of 「how to make a documentary?」. The union is committed to presenting regular screening programs for indie documentaries which should be thoughtfully presented to audiences, relevance to today’s Taiwan.
