FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團
【MIX舞動劇坊】經過4年的淬鍊，走訪過國內外大小舞台，我們決定於2014年以臺灣美麗的驕傲-『福爾摩沙』重新出發，創造屬於臺灣的特技劇團-【FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團】就此誕生，以美麗之島命名，深耕臺灣，向世界出發，用我們的身體，向世界傳遞臺灣之美，在未來踏上國際舞台的每一刻，能大聲說出我們來自福爾摩沙－臺灣。【FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團】集結各領域表演藝術人才，包含：特技、舞蹈、戲劇，以不同的方式媒合傳統及當代表演藝術，以發展臺灣新型態表演藝術為宗旨，並積極推廣臺灣馬戲文化的表演團體。藉由國內外交流演出，以表演藝術推廣臺灣文化，更期望與各國藝術團隊交流，將其經驗帶回臺灣，使「表演藝術」及「特技雜耍」能夠更加多元並發揚光大。
Company presentation and goals
Our company MIX Acrobatics was founded four years ago and has performed in various places in Taiwan and abroad (Europe, Asia). In 2014 we decided to sport proudly the name of our beautiful island ‘Formosa’ and to start again as an acrobatics troupe called ‘Formosa Circus Arts – FOCA’. With our name and our roots firmly planted in Taiwan but our gaze looking towards the whole world, we use our bodies to express ourselves and we wish to be able to announce our origins on every stage in the world: Formosa, Taiwan .
The members of Formosa Circus Arts- FOCA come from different artistic worlds including acrobatics, stunts, dance, and theater combining all these arts to create a new style of performance, while hoping to simultaneously develop modern circus and actively promote circus culture in Taiwan.
