    About 1/2 Q Theatre

    二分之一Q劇場是一個年輕的創作團體，甫於 2006 年成團，但從 2004 年首部作品《柳．夢．梅》，便以裝置藝術與崑曲結合的創新手法，入圍台新藝術獎十大表演藝術，驚艷戲曲與戲劇界；之後連續獲得國家戲劇院實驗劇場與誠品藝術節的邀演，2006 年再度以《小船幻想詩──為蒙娜麗莎而作》與《戀戀南柯》 雙入圍台新藝術獎十大表演藝術。2013年更以《亂紅》一劇獲得第十一屆台新藝術獎的【評審團特別獎】。 2014以《情書》入圍傳藝金曲獎2項獎項。

    二分之一Q的實驗崑曲結合古典與前衛，在現代劇場導演、視覺藝術創作者、崑劇演員與多媒體設計者等多方合作之下，剪輯經典戲曲劇本，激盪出新鮮豐富的劇場風情。 每次製作均是難得的跨界組合，同時亦是台灣表演藝術界獨一無二的作品品牌。

    1/2 Q Theatre is established in the spring of 2006, featuring experimental Kun opera.

    The group members include theater director Tai Chun-fang, Kun opera's performer of Sheng (young male roles)Yang Han-ru etc. The name "1/2" stands for the fact that the group members are not exactly from the background of traditional Kun opera nor from modern theater but an interesting mixture. The "Q" is a playful short name from"Kunqu" , which tells the creative and the lively attribute of the group.
