觀：就是看的意思｜想：就是心裡的想像。秉持著「觀」、「想」的理念及對古董的熱情，徐政夫創立「觀想藝術中心」，初期以經營東方古文物為主，擅長佛教藝術、文玩雜項、中國油畫、銅器、唐三彩、彩繪陶器及金銀器、玉器等，期間協助各大博物館收集展品，包括台北故宮博物院、歷史博物館、鴻喜美術館、台中科學教育博物館、宜蘭傳統藝術中心、北京保利博物館、新加坡東方博物館、紐約大都會博物館、香港徐展堂西藏博物館等，讓觀想自1993年成立以來，經過十餘年的深層紮根，在兩岸藝術公司都有極大的迴響。
觀想旗下設置「文物藝術部」、「現代藝術部」、「藝術規劃部」、「藝術行銷部」，希望透過各部門的策動，在兩岸間舉辦專題展覽、學術座談、規劃大型公共藝術裝置，藝術行銷規劃，與大眾分享更多元化的藝術。

In Chinese, the words GUAN XIANG consist of two characters- 'Guan' and 'Xiang'. Guan means to see or to look at. Xiang means what one thinks in one's mind. In order for Guan Xiang to sustain meaning, one has to possess an innate interest in, or deep feeling towards. Buddhist art, scholar's objects, Chinese painting, bronzes, Tang Sancai (tricolor ware), metalwork and jade are items on which the reputation of Jeff Hsu's Art has been based.
Far from being limited to just these categories, the company aims at calling attention to newer areas of collecting for the customers, thus extending the general awareness of what constitute collectible Chinese works of art. his passion for antiques and works of art is the driving force behind Mr. Hsu's founding of his company. Museums, collectors and auction houses form the bulk of GUAN XINAG’S clientele. For example, the National Palace Museum,the National History Museum (Taipei), Chang Foundation (Taipei), Science Museum (Taichung), Traditional Arts Center (Yilan), Poly Museum (Beijing), Capital Museum (Beijing), Metropolitan Museum (New York), and T.T. Tsui Tibetan Art Museum (Hong Kong).
GUAN XIANG has built up an enviable reputation as the premier trading post for Chinese cultural arts. There are four departments within the company- Chinese antiques, modern art, art design, and art marketing. Ideally, each of these departments will become not just an independent entity in the future, but a first rate company in the vast canvas of art businesses.
